I'm disappointed that you didn't use Matt's WOD from the last snow storm.

"Saturday Dec 19, 2009: For time/completion and beer at the end...4.5 mile trek to ABC store, 2.25 miles out with no weight, 2.25 miles back with 13 lb backpack with results of shopping list. All in ankle to shin deep snow."
